I See You

                 I see you
I see all your beautiful features
I see all your beautiful ways
I see the outline of your body and your soul where it resides
  I see the love
        I see the pain
            I see the curiosity
                I see the wantings
                     I see the desires
I see the pouring out of emotions from the mind’s eye
I see the basking and the love and the excitement and admiration
I see all the beautiful inside of you that will never cease to be
I see you
I see you in there so shallow and deep
I see you in there so lovely and unique
I see you for days through the trees and the weeds
I see you oh so clearly I feel I could weep
I see you full of joy
I see you when your full of pain
I see you for who you are
I see you for how you are
I see you this way always and forevermore
You can do no harm — it’s not about wrong or right
It’s just about how you see you for you to be able to take flight
But I will always see you just as you are
The blessed little angel who came from afar
I see you in the day
I see you in the night
I see you in the dark
I see you in the light
Your worry is not needed from where I stand
I will see you always so heightened and so grand

Loved

I love the way your water flows
I love the way your trees sway
I love the way your leaves blow
I love the way your flowers blossom
I love the way I can dance by your stream
I love the way I can prance through your prairie
             When the wind blows
                   I can feel your fury
When the sun shines I feel your glow
There's nothing you could ever say
There's nothing you could ever do
There's never a way on this earth
That I could ever stop loving you
 Look at who you are
Look at what you have to offer
You provide me with shade in the warmth
You provide me with coverage through the storm
You provide so much for me
I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to say it right
        Or say it enough
    You're the way I survive
You're the way I grow
I thank you so much for all your beauty
I thank you so much for all your stunning joy
The only thing I wish I could do
Is be able to return it all back to you
So when it's time for me to go
And we may lose touch in the physical
Just know how much I'm thinking of you
Just know how much I adore you
And remember how much I love you

Douglas White

Poems by

Douglas White has spent half of his life as a coach in baseball. He started coaching shortly before his playing career had ended in 2004. It was always his dream to one day experience the Major Leagues for himself and after many years of ups and downs, ins and outs, and lots of discovery, Douglas fulfilled that dream by signing a major league contract to become the Los Angeles Angels Pitching Coach in 2019.

This book represents a shift in his life that happened shortly after realizing his dream.

Douglas is so proud of this work knowing open and honestly that it came directly from his soul.

Writing this book was an amazing healing process during that time of his life. You will find Douglas in North County San Diego surfing, meditating, writing, and often contemplating about his time here in this Universe. He finds himself walking down many different avenues - coaching, entrepreneurial directions, and a whole lot of travel.

Lindsee Cooper

Art by

Lindsee sells her artwork all over the world, and absolutely loves collaborating with other creators as well. This book is a perfect representation of co-creation at its best.

In many ways, she believes the practice of creating art has been an ultimate teacher for her. It has taught her how to let go of outcomes and simply enjoy the process.

Lindsee creates her artwork not because she has to, but because she wants to.

She simply does it for the pleasure of doing it. It allows her to discover a unique type of transcendence in her life that has yet to elicit any other way.

"Love that the words flow so easily and really hit you in a spot you're not used to being hit. The art is so colorful and vibrant and beautiful... it's almost mesmerizing. Everything about this book feels like a very energetic and grounded creation. I applaud them both."

  • Dave G.

"I buy many books throughout each year and this was far the best book I've purchased in 2023. I'm so grateful these two have come together to make what they made and are sharing it with the world. It's very unique and very special."

This book would look great on your coffee table!
